After much thought I am inclined to go with a new idea! That I don't want to buy a crumbly old building that operates like a bottomless pit. Instead I want my own Walden. I want to build a cabin/ a shed/ a hut. And consequently Normandy may not be the answer... Lanfranc's library might have to move to a site more rustic and isolated so it can be cheaper. I think I am experiencing cabinology fever.
